Hi, I’m Cathy Ballew, lover of the Shenandoah Valley and all it offers—hiking, vineyards, local live music, the great outdoors, and these amazing mountain views! I’m the proud mother of three sons and my ‘bonus boys’—my husband George’s three sons. We share eight grandchildren and a precious Catahoula Leopard dog named Rosie. Helping folks "Put down their roots!" is what I love to do.
My husband and I spent a couple years living in Helena Montana - the biggest adventure of our lives outside of a busy house full of kids. We loved the local breweries and live music and Carroll College football. I am an expert in moving across the country and downsizing! We have also resided in Staunton, Fishersville, and now Waynesboro.
My heart is always open to help others. I served for over 15 years in the Juvenile Courts aiding foster children. (Augusta County, Staunton, Waynesboro, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Buena Vista, and Helena Montana) This work led me to become an active supporter of local non-profit groups, like CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children, Valley Children’s Advocacy Center, Magnolia Rose, New Directions and Mental Health America. My years helping children in need have been beyond rewarding, and it’s brought on the desire in me to lead more people to their happy place.
I can’t wait to take on finding you your dream home!
